Bain’s Whisky

Give me the short version:

I worked on the Art Direction and design for a campaign called Sonic Symphony. We set out on an experiment to create a new sonically aged whisky matured to the smooth beats of musician, Tellaman.

An Experiment

The challenge was essentially to explain what we were doing in a single visual. And failing that, we at least needed to intrigue people enough to visit the website to learn more. A sonically twisted barrel floats in the background aligning with a sound wave moving through the visual. You can see the distillery in the background on the left, and Tellaman stands proudly at the centre.

The Campaign AV

The commercial was shot in the James Sedgwick Distillery as Tellaman performed a remastered version of his song “Practice”.
